biskut masin

I can't really remember when it was but I know I was really young. Mother had decided to hang a kilo of Ritz biscuits around our necks for finishing up the biscuits served by the then tenant of dad's house which was rented out. My sister was crying and I did not understand why. May be she was old enough to know that having a kilo of biscuits around your neck while others watch and laughed was an embarassment. For me, I was more angry than anything else but started crying when my sister couldn't stop her tears. Merely because I feared that mother would not think that I have learnt my lesson.

Well, we did. Having it hung around us for a good half an hour only made us the right people to finish up the biscuits. We did that too. ( not right away la)....

As I grow older, I realised that what my sister and I did was right. That was our rezeki served to us as guest and it was only right that we try to finish it. (though, I must admit that try is an understatement la)
Anyhow, right or wrong there was a lesson to be learnt.... Apa-apa pun, I am a better being because of that.

So thank you Mak for teaching me the hard way.....

Hmm.

Being 7 years old, I hardly ate. One night, we went to a family friend's house for dinner, and I whacked like mad, not because the food was good, but more because I ate with friends.

One night, back home, I had dinner with my family, and I ate slowly, and couldn't finish my rice. My father slapped me, twisted my ears, and fed me rice forcefully that my mouth bled.

I am still trying to figure out the lesson taught there.

Sd, its difficult to sometimes justify the punishments I got from my mom. But I salute her for not strangling me when I use to give her a lot of problems..... Now I will let her know what is right though most of the times I staple je bibir ni ha... Sebab dia selalu cakap mulut I jahat!!! Hahahahaha

kak shana,

one whole kilo for the sister and one whole kilo for me.... hahahahaha

my mother had her issues and i know for sure it was not easy. so the best punishment for us was made easy and simple for her.

kalau i habis kan durian, oh dear i cannot imagine!

you know what she used to tell us when ever she was not happy with us? she will hang us upside down on the mango tree and made sure that there'll be ants to bite us... nasib baik arwah abah tak buat tangga lagi masa tu. Then we moved to a new house, abah had to buat the tangga because there were a lot of things to do around the house. (abah was an excellent DIYer) Tapi.... there were no trees... hahahahaha rumah baru kan....
pooih! thank god for all of that!!!! kalau lah dia kotakan kata kata dia.... MASAK!!!!!

Ahhh... what a wonderful idea. Let's see if I can gantung all the mini hotwheels around my boys' neck.

Err... but I don't think they would consider THAT as a punishment, would they? DARN .....

And hahaha... tergelak I baca your reply up there, what if "durians". Ouchhh!!!
